A Group of 10-Year-Olds Take on Global Warming

After learning about climate change in the fifth grade, and the possible devastation it could have on their hometown, a group of 10-year-olds were inspired to fight for the environment. The group started recycling oil from local restaurants, and since their project started they’ve offset three million pounds of CO2 emissions and heated the homes of 400 families in their community.
